Superman attacked by Rays; terrified of the flat fishes Stu panics, all caught on camera. Stuart heads back to Dublin.

Here we are in Moorea again. Stuart can't get used to the idea that the sharks don't eat people here, and the Sting Rays are practically tame.

Go away bad big fish..

Superman goes swimming

Ancient sports complex, bow and arrow launch pad.

Moorea; Cook bay and Opunohu bay in the back

Clongowes boy was amused by this. The Jesuits are never too
far away!

Seems Carl is never to far away either, we found his boat in
a little marina in Moorea.

Katja learns to water ski, she got the hank of it quite quickly after a few high
speed face flops. We have the video!

River road, literally. The road runs thru the river. Mountains in Moorea.

Superman gets thirsty.

Boys no fighting... DC looking a bit silver foxy in this shot... must have been odd light!

Swimming in the river Moorea.

Mr Sky diver

Take off...

Crash landing... ouch. He nearly drained the lake.

Pop showing him how it should be done!

All the next few shots were taken during a day trip up the mountains
in Moorea. The pics tell the story.

Lunch in the worlds loneliest restaurant.

Yep a tunnel in the middle of nowhere.

The other side of the tunnel. a grand etang.

"A house of clay and wattles made"
No quite what Yeats meant, nevertheless all the materials are
available along the beach. Rangiroa home.

Avatoru Pass Rangiroa.. by bike

Stu and Avatoru RC church.

Pop O'Connor's 56th birthday party, Opunohu beach.
Truth is we crashed it by accident... thinking it was a little pub
on the beach...

When we told them we were Irish they couldn't believe it.
They insisted we stay and plonked two 'grandees' into our hands.
(pint bottles of beer).

Fishermen all... and great players...

I played the bongo drums till they pleaded with me to stop!

Pop O'Connor and his beautiful daughter.
Their great great grandfather was Irish.
The family hail from the Marquesas, where the 'Irishman'
was a great fisherman. It is only in the last 20 years the O'Connors emigrated to Tahiti.

Heneri and Stu

The whole clan with the new 'son in law'!.
All good things come to an end...Stu's 'last supper'.
He heads off home tomorrow.

The last dinner out, Tahina Marina.
I think he had a smashing time!
